General aviation

Jersey Airport is home to many light and general aviation aircraft that benefit from the various airport services available to them. Jersey is a great place to learn to fly or improve your flying skills and benefits from the beautiful backdrop of the Channel Islands scenery and helpful ATC services.

Our island gateway was named ‘Best Aerodrome’ by the UK Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association for its outstanding facilities and helpful service in 2017. Jersey Airport welcomes and encourages visiting aircraft.

Jersey Immigration, Jersey Customs and Special Branch requirements

Jersey Immigration, Jersey Customs and Police Special Branch require all pilots to complete and file a General Declaration prior to your arrival in Jersey.

If you enter or leave Jersey by private aircraft, you must complete and submit a General Declaration form prior to departure. This lets them know who you are and where you’re from, and if you have goods to declare.

General Declaration forms are reviewed by Jersey Customs and Immigration Service and the States of Jersey Police.

It is essential to present all crew and passengers to the Aero Club operations on arrival and departure.
