Holiday travel advice

Published: 18 July 2024

As schools break up for the summer, Jersey Airport is preparing for a week of busy holiday travel. With a large number of flights, many departing within minutes of each other, passengers are advised to leave plenty of time to check in their hold luggage and clear security.

There may be queues at busy times, but Ports of Jersey teams will ensure that everyone gets to their flights as quickly as possible.

The temporary 100ml limit reintroduced recently remains in place, so passengers should follow security officers’ instructions to prepare for screening. Passengers who need to book assisted travel should contact their airline before travelling to the Airport

Temporary 100ml rule

  • Liquids, pastes and gels must be in hand luggage, in containers no larger than 100ml
  • These containers do not need to be in a plastic bag
  • Containers should be removed from hand luggage and placed in a tray to go through Security
