Restricted Airspace (Jersey) – 15 to 16 July 2024

In accordance with Article 47 of the Air Navigation (Jersey) Law 2014, the Jersey Director of Civil Aviation has established Restricted Airspace (Temporary) prohibiting the operation of small unmanned aircraft from flying anywhere in the island (see map) from surface to 400ft above ground level effective from 07:00 hours on Monday 15 July to 16:30 hours on Tuesday 16 July 2024.

This restriction does not apply to:

  • Any UAS operating outside of the Jersey Aerodrome Traffic Zone in accordance with a permission issued by the States of Jersey Police.
  • Any UAS operating within the Jersey Aerodrome Traffic Zone in accordance with a permission issued by the States of Jersey Police and Air Traffic Control.
  • Members and guests of the Jersey Model Aero Club operating at the Les Landes model aircraft flying site.

This permission does not absolve the pilot/operator from complying with the applicable articles of the Air Navigation (Jersey) Law 2014 and the conditions attached to a Jersey Aerial Work Permit’.

No UAV is to fly within a circle radius 6nm centred on 491318N 0020800W
